Virtual Design and Construction
Providing building information modeling (BIM) and virtual design and construction (VDC) services allows us to collaborate better with project teams and identify issues or problems earlier in the process, helping to save our customers time and money.
BIM involves 3D modeling and data input of the physical components of a project, connecting design and construction teams and improving project efficiency. We apply these capabilities to plan-spec, design-assist, and design-build projects.
VDC takes BIM further by using BIM models to plan the entire construction process, start to finish. It focuses on planning the sequence of the work, and includes analysis of costs, budget, and scheduling. Through VDC, all disciplines on a project are brought together early, helping to maintain connectivity throughout the project lifecycle.
